Medium - Australian recycled pure uncoated copper with beads from discarded necklaces along with vintage ceramic beads handmade from Kilimanjaro and other shells and pieces found.
Inspired by our beautiful barrier reef, this is a Wall Story. The Reef is essential 'Aussie', yet few of us spend much time there. After flying over the barrier reef many years ago, the artist has searched for the colours that best reflect her memories, watery blues, deep blues, and greens along with sandy colouring and blue for the sky.

Copper is a magical natural product. Copper does not rust however it will age if subjected to different conditons. The changing of colour in copper that can happen over many years is often desired however if the piece is polished with any of the many polishes available, then the colouring may not appear.
