Pair of Wall Stories
Height 900 mm, width 230 mm, weight 350g - each one of the pair.

Medium - Australian recycled pure copper uncoated, rescued coated copper and recovered beads from discarded jewellery being ceramic beads from Kilimanjaro, glass beads, and shells.

Inspired by our beautiful barrier reef, Coral Reef 1 & 2 are a pair of wall stories.  The story is about our connection to this beautiful part of Australia and how it weaves into our identity and connection even though few of us spend any true time there.  It is, for many, true Australian.

These are the first of the Kilimanjaro Collection.  They have a number of hand painted vintage ceramic beads along with some shells that I brought back from Croatia and beads recovered from jewellery.
