Medium - Australian recycled pure uncoated copper with recovered beads from discarded jewellery and discarded stocks being stone beads and Czech glass beads.
Rolling tumbled rocks through my hands, allowing me to feel connected to land. For this piece, I selected stones that I feel represents the colours of the vast outback, and I have added blue agate for the stunning sky. Crystal glass beads sparkle like the stars in the clear night sky.
Stones
Copper is a magical natural product. Copper does not rust however it will age if subjected to different conditons. The changing of colour in copper that can happen over many years is often desired however if the piece is polished with any of the many polishes available, then the colouring may not appear.
