A simple teacup sits there, inviting us to stop work, take a break, socialise, listen, engage, and relax. It is an invitation in itself. A vessel of enjoyment.
So simple, so wonderful.
This piece is weaved with pure copper and Murano Glass beads acquired at an Antique Market in Venice.
Will that be Earl Grey?
Copper is a magical natural product. Copper does not rust however it will age if subjected to different conditons. The changing of colour in copper that can happen over many years is often desired however if the piece is polished with any of the many polishes available, then the colouring may not appear.
